Former Defense Minister Haliru Bello, appointed as PDP BoT Chairman.

Former Minister of Defence, Haliru Bello, has emerged the acting Chairman of the PDP's Board of Trustees. The decision to make him the acting Chairman was taken by key party officials at the presidential villa yesterday May 25th. He was the only one nominated by those present at the meeting.Dr Bello replaces Chief Tony Anenih who resigned as the party's Board of Trustees Chairman last week. The meeting which started at about 9pm was presided over byPresident Jonathan, and had Senate President David Mark, his deputy Ike Ekweremadu, PDP Women leader Josephine Anenih and others in attendance.

Oil marketers have finally agreed to call off strike and begin lifting of petrol within 6hrs.The oil marketers agreed to call off their strike at a meeting with the Chairman, Senate committee on petroleum resources, Magnus Abe, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, ‎ Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, MD of NNPC Joseph Dawha and other stakeholders in the oil and gas sector in Abuja today May 25th.

Kim jong-un orders exexution of top military officers.

Kim jong-un obviously is a wicked man. According to new reports, the North Korean leader ordered the execution of top-ranking military officials over their failure to give soldiers more food.

Kim Jong-un is reported to have ordered the killing of his vice armed forces minister, So Hong-chan, and a few others close to him for not following his orders.

This is coming weeks after he reportedly ordered the execution of his chief of defense, Hyon Yong-chol, for falling asleep during a meeting and not obeying his orders.
